About this location
Galway CTC was established in the 1988 to train early school leavers. The training centre offers two year programmes in Horticulture, Mechanics, Catering and Life skills Development and
IT.
Our learners have progressed to: NUI Galway, VTOS, GMIT, Galway Community College Apprenticeship programme at the GRETB and even to Cambridge University to complete postgraduate studies. The applied nature of our programmes has helped learners gain employment in prestigious hotels and restaurants in Galway City and County while others have progressed to self-employment as beauticians and employment as legal and medical secretaries.
