Newbridge Community Training Centre trading as The Youth Training and Development Centre (YTDC) is located at units DE, Cill Dara Industrial Estate, Newbridge. This new building offers first class educational, training and sports facilities. The aim of the programmes offered is to provide young early school leavers with on-going education and training.
The centre delivers QQI certification in modules such as catering, hairdressing, computers, horticulture, engineering, childcare, ceramics, mathematics, communications, personal development,
and sport.
The centre has the services of a psychoanalyst two days per week.
The centre has achieved a gold award in Youth Health Promotion and is the holder of a Yellow Flag award for inclusivity.
The centre has been awarded the ACE award in recognition of its work integrating literacy and mathematics into the curriculum.
YTDC has the services of an Advocate who assists learners achieve progression in their chosen careers.
